In everyday life there are unspoken moments that can capture who we are. A look in someone's direction, sunlight through the trees, or a smile you didn't even realize you were a part of. When I became a mother my love of photography took on a whole new meaning. As any parent knows, children grow up all too quickly and even special little characteristics or something your child said or did will soon be forgotten. These are things that make life beautiful, and this is the reason I love photography. My name is Dawn, and I live to capture these moments, that enter so innocently, and leave such an everlasting mark. I'm a small town girl who sees life in simple terms. I appreciate the little things because that is what life is all about. I understand the importance of your photographs. These are your moments, your memories, I'm just the medium who captures the life that you see. I specialize in shooting on location. You'll find my style is simple with not many props or poses. Instead of directing I like to observe, which allows me to capture individuality. You'll find that if you allow your children and yourself the freedom to be natural and free you'll have a better experience, your child will enjoy themselves more and you'll have portraits you just can't live without and that show you and your childs true spirit and heart.
